Malanga BLANCA
ABOUT:
Malanga Blanca is a tropical root vegetable that appears similar to a yam and the taste is woodsy with a hint of black walnut. The skin is brown and hairy, and the flesh is white, firm, and crisp. Malanga Blanca originated from South America and is used frequently in many tropical countries as much as potatoes.
HANDLING:
Malanga Blanca is stored best at 45-50°F in a fairly dry environment.
