ABOUT: 

Malanga Lila is a root vegetable that is fairly common in the tropics and South America. It has a hairy brown exterior and a pink-colored flesh. Unlike many other starchy tropical tubers, it has more flavor. Its taste is earthy and is described more similar towards nuts than potatoes. Malanga Lila originates from South America, Africa, and some tropical regions.

HANDLING: 

Malanga Lila is stored at temperatures between 45°-50°F. Typical shelf life is up to 3 to 4 weeks.
